Listen | All of our creative projects produce custom work, so every project starts by listening, defining your needs and goals. This week we'll be making a trip to Stockton to meet a potential client who was referred to us, and they said what we consider the magic words: "We know what we want, but we don't know where to begin..."
Plan | We spoke on Friday with an old friend working in a new place, who knows what marketing tools she wants, but needs simple presentation tools to earn trust from the stakeholders upstream to secure approvals. ("How simple can we make it to say 'yes'?") A great reminder that every project has a defined end (hence periods in the tagline) but it always starts with securing a yes.
Deliver | Four clients ordered new business cards last week. They are getting out there handshake first, and will be well positioned to act upon the responses they earn. 90% of success is showing up, so if you're heading out there, make it easy for them to say "yes" and for you to respond quickly when they do.
Repeat | We started our week with a phone call from a favorite client, the American Red Cross. Their Communications Director has a staff designer who will be out next month at the time a critical event program is in final production. The best part of our morning was assuring Ellen that she always has us as back-up, if needed, just one phone call away. 707-526-7000
